We have a vision: Kristiansand shall be a greener and more beautiful town. It shall be a good place to live, with an up-to-date and efficient public transport system, where using the bus is an attractive alternative to going by car. Innovative thinking has been a key to achieving this goal. As a result, Bussmetro – an east-west connection with frequent departures – started rolling on 18 August 2003.

The basic idea is that you will not have to wait long for the next bus.
